  28. It rather sounds as if the 3.5 isn't spinning up fast enough, in
  29. which case you have 2 choices. One is to stiffen up the 12 volt
  30. supply so it can handle a 3+ amp startup surge without letting the
  31. voltage sag, or just do a reboot when you do hear the drive speed
  32. stabilize. The three 2.5 inchers I've played with have all spun up
  33. and are at speed in less than a second, the larger 3.5 seems to need
  34. anywhere from 3 to 7 seconds before the ready line goes true.
