- It rather sounds as if the 3.5 isn't spinning up fast enough, in
- which case you have 2 choices. One is to stiffen up the 12 volt
- supply so it can handle a 3+ amp startup surge without letting the
- voltage sag, or just do a reboot when you do hear the drive speed
- stabilize. The three 2.5 inchers I've played with have all spun up
- and are at speed in less than a second, the larger 3.5 seems to need
- anywhere from 3 to 7 seconds before the ready line goes true.
